The latest report of the research organization UBI Research shows that China has become the largest purchaser of smartphone OLED display panels in the second quarter of this year, accounting for 52.5% of the total. In total, companies from China purchased approximately 30.4 million OLED panels.

For Chinese mobile phone manufacturers, Huawei’s mobile phone purchases the most OLED screens, accounting for 53.4% of the total, followed by OPPO, vivo and Xiaomi, which accounted for 18.6%, 14.8% and 8.3%, respectively. .
The report pointed out that China's OLED panel manufacturers will continue to increase production in the future. Compared with LCD panels, OLED has become the first choice due to its thin, light profile and better color performance. Another major factor is that OLEDs can achieve flexible display sizes, allowing manufacturers to carry out innovative designs.
