It is reported that the latest statistics of IHS Markit show that in the whole of 2019, BOE's LCD TV panel shipments totaled 30.1 million square meters, a year-on-year increase of 23.8%, ranking first in the world for the first time, exceeding LG Display. Three to five are Samsung Display, Huaxing Optoelectronics and Innolux, all of which have declined.
It is worth pointing out that BOE's LCD TV panel shipments have won the top spot since 2018, but this is the first time that it has won the first shipment area at the same time.

In terms of product segmentation, the share of 4K panels has increased by 6 percentage points to 45.2% among shipping panels. IHS Markit expects to continue to increase this year. Among them, Huaxing Optoelectronics' December 4K LCD TV panel shipment share reached the first, 16.7%; however, last year, BOE ranked first with 16.4%.
In addition, in the field of automotive LCD panels, the ranking of manufacturers has also changed slightly: LGD beat JDI to take the first place, and BOE has also increased its share to 11.3%. In addition, LGD has started mass-producing OLED panels for automobiles from the beginning of the year.
