Huaxian Optoelectronics (00334) released its results announcement. In 2018, the company's revenue was 5.281 billion yuan (the same unit), an increase of 52.42% year-on-year; the annual profit attributable to shareholders was 81.78 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 29.34%; basic earnings per share was 3.95 points. , no dividends.
The announcement shows that although the Group's sales volume and gross profit margin have fully recovered in the second half of 2018, it is still affected by the weak sales in the first half of 2018. The Group's gross profit margin decreased by 3.4 percentage points year-on-year to 4.7%, achieving a gross profit of 248 million yuan. Declined by 11.3%.
It is reported that the Group's turnover growth was mainly attributable to the increase in orders from new first-line brand customers in the second half of 2018. The Group's annual sales volume increased by 13.1% year-on-year to 60.4 million units; the Group continued to optimize its product mix and improve its high-end products. The proportion of sales of the Group's bonded products increased from 40.5% in the same period last year to 68.9%, and the overall average selling price increased by 34.7% to 87.5 yuan.

Benefiting from new brand customer orders, the turnover from China was 4.18 billion yuan, up 91.8% year-on-year, accounting for 79.1% of the Group's total turnover. Due to changes in the customer base, turnover from Hong Kong was 737 million yuan, down 25.4% year-on-year. Driven by sales of LG, a well-known Korean consumer electronics company, South Korea is the Group's largest market. The turnover from South Korea was 358 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 25.6%.
