With the promotion peak brought by the New Year's Day holiday, OLED has begun to lead the consumption trend of the 2016 home appliance market.
According to the data, during the 2016 New Year's Day promotion period, China's color TV market retail sales reached 4.44 million units, an increase of 1.1% year-on-year; during the three-week promotion period, New Year's Day became the highest sales volume in the week, reaching 2.12 million units, pushing the sales peak. OLED organic TV has a good performance during the New Year's Day, which has doubled compared with previous sales. Under the trend of increasing overall sales, users targeting high-end products are favored by OLED organic TVs. OLED organic TVs have become the top choice for high-end users during New Year's Day.
After the gradual maturity and development of OLED technology, it has gradually approached consumer expectations in 2015. In 2015, 4K OLEDs began to be sold in the Chinese market, and OLED TV display shipments reached 400,000, a four-fold increase from 2014. With the increase in shipments and the significant increase in yield, the price of OLED TVs is infinitely close to that of high-end LCD TVs.
Previously, at the CES show, which is known as the technology wind vane, OLED is still the leader, and is the next generation display technology to replace LCD. In the exhibition, Skyworth, Changhong, LG Electronics and other complete machine manufacturers also exhibited a variety of high-end TVs equipped with OLED technology. LG Electronics released four series of OLED TVs in G6, E6, C6 and B6, which have become the focus of attention. Changhong's 4K HDR OLED Smart TV Q2AEH and Skyworth's OLED S9300 series also attracted enough attention. Among them, Skyworth's S9300 series OLED TV has won the “2015 China Industry Fair Industrial Design Gold Award” and is the world's first mass-produced 4K OLED TV product. It is not difficult to see that in 2016, OLED is still the high-end mainstream of the color TV industry.
