The liquid crystal display device is a passive display device which does not emit light by itself, but realizes display by modulating ambient light around it. External light is a necessary condition for liquid crystal display. Therefore, ingeniously solving the lighting can not only improve the quality of the liquid crystal display, but also greatly expand its application field. In general, LCD lighting mainly uses two kinds of natural light and backlight.
1. Natural light lighting technology:
Using the environment is the most convenient and cheapest way. Most of the metering display devices such as counting, timing, meters, calculators, etc. use the surrounding natural light as the light source. It is realized by reflecting the natural light incident from the front side by a reflective film on the back of the LCD. The disadvantage is that the display resolution is greatly affected by the surrounding light. In order to reduce these effects, pay attention to the use:
1 The display window should be as prominent as possible, and should not be recessed into the panel.
2 The display device should be mounted on the front side of the machine with the most light-receiving surface. Larger machines should be flat and the display should be mounted on the side to avoid being placed on the side.
2. Set the backlighting technology:
By setting the backlight, you can achieve a stable and clear display, and you can get a clear display even in the case of extremely poor ambient light. However, since the backlight increases power consumption, you should be cautious when choosing it. Do not set it easily.
