The prices of the two panels were respectively US$14.3 and US$14.6, which was about 93 yuan and 95 yuan respectively. Is the A-screen era really coming?

The rapid reduction in costs can be attributed to the near completion of the depreciation of the production line, the increase in panel makers' technology, the increase in capacity utilization rate, and the continuous improvement in production yields, all of which significantly lower the cost of the unit panel.
The Samsung with an earlier layout has a market share of more than 90% in the AMOLED market. With the increase in demand for AMOLED screens from domestic mobile phone manufacturers, Samsung Display’s current capacity utilization rate is already close to full, and the market share is expected to further increase to 95%.
In addition, Apple will advance to the news of using the OLED screen on the new iPhone (or iPhone 7s, 7s Plus) in 2017, and is expected to further promote the A-screen era to come faster.
