Apple iPhone X with AMOLED screen, coupled with a number of television plants AMOLED TV launch, market research agency Fuji ChimeraResearch estimates that in 2022 the global AMOLED panel market will reach 4.61 trillion yen (about 41.36 billion US dollars), about Three times in 2016.
At present, the AMOLED market is dominated by the Korean factory. AUO is mainly engaged in the shipment of smart watches and other wearable devices. The Qun Chong OLED screen will be shipped from the end of this year to next year, with shipment-oriented wearables as the mainstay.
According to the report, OLED panels and LCD panels for mobile phones will face an intersection in 2019, and the OLED panel market will reach 26.3 billion U.S. dollars, surpassing the LCD output value of 21.7 billion U.S. dollars.
Apple iPhoneX adopts the organic light-emitting diode (OLED) panel. At present, the sole supplier, Samsung Display Company, seems to be interested in raising the price and limited supply. The favorable LG display is becoming the second supplier. In addition to South Korean LGM, Landmark Tianmawei, BOE and Taiwan's Hon Hai Group are both willing to supply Apple's mobile OLED panels; LGD is the most promising supplier of Apple OLED panels.
